To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will set out in theOfficial Report the key points of his speech on environment and development given to the conference, "What On Earth Is To Be Done", on 19 March.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he met the Secretary General of the 1992 United Nations special conference on environment and development during his visit to London on 19 March.

[holding answer 25 March 1991]: No, but my right hon. Friend has arranged to see Mr. Strong in London next month.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if, during his visit to the conference, "What On Earth Is To Be Done", he discussed with the youth representative speakers the matters they raised in regard to the responsibilities of the developed nations to assist in environmental protection of the poorer nations.
