Mr. McAllion

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish the numbers of children in age categories eight to 15 years and youths 16 to 20 years who have been convicted of offences in each of the last five years in(a) Dundee, (b) Tayside and (c) Scotland.

Figures for the last five years for which information is available are given in the table.

(g) drugs, indicating their percentage of total recorded offences, in (i) Dundee, (ii) Tayside and (iii) Scotland, in each of the past five years for which figures are available.

3. Under theft by opening lockfast places are included opening lockfast places with intent to steal and attempted opening lockfast places with intent to steal.

4. Crimes in (e) and (f) above are included with other crimes of dishonesty in (c).
