To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Great Grimsby (Mr. Mitchell) of 13 March,Official report, column 567, what percentage of the fruit referred to relates to plantains and what percentage to bananas.

The United Kingdom trade statistics do not differentiate between banana and plantain imports.
