To ask the Attorney-General if he will seek a review of the judge's ruling in the case relating to the Zeebrugge ferry disaster; and if he will make a statement.

On 11 December 1990 I informed the legal representatives of all parties to the proceedings that I had decided, with the advice of leading counsel, that no point of law of general application arose warranting reference to the Court of Appeal under section 36 of the Criminal Justice Act 1972.
