§ Mr. DorrellWe have received four inquiries regarding possible adverse effects from the organophosphorus sheep dips during the past 10 months. Organophosphorus sheep dip, if properly used, are unlikely to cause harm, although a few people may be unusually sensitive. I understand that the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is currently reviewing sheep dips.
Anybody who considers that they may have been adversely affected by exposure to sheep dips should report the matter to the veterinary medicines directorate at Weybridge.
