To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what are the levels of fees for licensing animal medicines in(a) the United Kingdom and (b) the other countries of the European Community.

The information requested is set out in the table. This is based on information circulated by the EC Commission in November 1990 to provide an approximate estimate of the fees payable in each member state. The pound sterling rates have been converted from ECUs at the rate prevailing on 30 November 1990.
