To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will give the expenditure on the Secretary of State's flat at the Crown buildings, Cathays park, in the current financial year and, on the same accounting basis, for each of the previous four financial years.

Annual recurring costs of rent, rates, utilities, cleaning and laundry, are subsumed in the Department's overall accommodation charges for the Cathays park building. The only separately identifiable expenditure since 1985–86 occurred in the current financial year and amounts to £1,531.16.

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the principal items of consumer durables and kitchen equipment acquired for the Secretary of State's flat at Crown buildings, Cathays park, in the present financial year.
