To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will break down the fatalities of service men in the Gulf conflict by country of permanent residence within the United Kingdom.

Because of the mobile nature of service life, the information requested is not available. The country of residence of the next of kin of those who died while serving in the Gulf area or following evacuation to the United Kingdom for medical treatment is shown below:
