§ Mrs. RumboldIn 1988 and 1989 we issued to electoral registration officers sets of model explanatory notes on the registration process in a number of ethnic minority languages, together with guidance on their use. The 1989 revision remains extant. In general, registration officers are themselves best placed to assess the needs of the local ethnic minority population and to produce their own material accordingly.
