To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) how many patients were treated in each year since 1989 in each of the acute specialty units at(a) Royal Victoria hospital, Belfast, (b) Belfast City hospital, (c) Mater hospital, Belfast and (d) Ulster hospital;

(2) how many patients were treated in 1990 in each of the acute specialty units at (a) Royal Victoria hospital, Belfast, (b) Belfast City hospital, (c) Mater hospital, Belfast and (d) Ulster hospital.

The table shows the number of discharges, including deaths, from acute specialties in each of the four hospitals in 1989 and 1990. Information is not available on the number of individual patients treated.
