§ Mr. Austin MitchellTo ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) if he will make it his policy to place in the Library a copy of all documents obtained by his representative on the Auditing Practices Board;
(2) whether he will propose legislation under which it will be an offence for the Auditing Standards Board not to provide information to a Member of the House which it provides to auditing firms.
§ Mr. RedwoodNo doubt the Auditing Practices Board will bear in mind the hon. Member's interest when deciding its policy on access to its papers.
