§ Sir Wyn RobertsResponsibility for improving these roads rests with the respective local highway authorities. A number of major improvement schemes are receiving transport grant support from the Department and information is given in the Welsh Office departmental report published in February.

§ Sir Wyn RobertsI have received a number of representations. The Government's policy is to upgrade the A483 and A470 by means of selective improvements. Details of planned schemes are set out in "Roads in Wales: Progress and Plans for the 1990s" published in 1989, and the supplement published in February 1991.
