To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will state how many people have been killed as a result of road accidents in Wales in each of the past 10 years, and what is the total to date this year.

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales whether he proposes to take any further measures to improve road safety in Wales.

We are continually seeking to improve road safety. For example, we are currently encouraging the use of rear seat belts which will be compulsory as from 1 July.
