§ Mr. DewarTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish a table showing expenditure on the arts in Scotland in cash and real terms for each year since 1979.
§ Mr. LangPublic expenditure by my Department on the arts is set out in the table below. In addition, substantial sums are made available to support the arts in Scotland through the Scottish Arts Council which is funded by my right hon. Friend the Minister for the Arts.
