§ Mr. ForthThe tourism co-ordination committee has met four times since the beginning of 1988. It is chaired by the Secretary of State for Employment or the Minister for Tourism, and all Departments with a significant interest in matters affecting the industry are represented at ministerial or official level. The committee has discussed a wide range of topics and policies which impinge upon the promotion and development of tourism in the United Kingdom.
