HC Deb 18 July 1991 vol 195 cc270-1W
Sir Peter Morrison

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will undertake an assessment of the employment implications and the effect on future job prospects in the Chester area, resulting from the latest proposals relating to the Chester local plan.

Mr. Jackson

Employment prospects in the Chester area were one of the factors taken into account by my right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for the Environment, in deciding on the proposed modification to the Cheshire structure plan he published on 11 July. I have no plans to make any separate assessment.
