§ Mr. DorrellWe have no plans to reintroduce free milk for all school children. Local authorities already have the powers to provide milk at midday free of charge to children of families in receipt of income support. This together with the provisions available under the welfare food scheme ensures that the children in most need receive a quota of free milk each day.
