To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will list the convictions under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

Mr. Leigh

To date, there has been one conviction under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. The defendant was convicted of two offences under section 2 of the Act at Bow street magistrates court, London, and was sentenced to pay a fine of £450 for each offence.
