§ Mr. GummerCharges for statutory inspections of dairy farms by Ministry dairy officers were introduced in 30 March 1987. Since then, charges have been as follows:
247WIf the charges for routine visits had been raised in line with the retail prices index since March 1987, they would now be £116 (higher rate) and £103 (lower rate). The lower rates apply to inspections of farms with herds of fewer than 20 cows.
