Ms. Harman

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will publish a table showing the value of child support for each child in standard rate tax-paying families in 1990 prices from 1958 to 1991–92.

The information requested is in the table. Figures for April 1991 cannot be given at April 1990 prices until the retail prices index (RPI) for April 1991 is published.
