Member for Clwyd, South-West (Mr. Jones) about the Government's plans to ameliorate the situation.

§ Mr. David HuntThe latest available figures show that there are more people in employment in Wales than ever before with a record 1,239,000 civilian work force in employment. In June 1979, there were 618,000, 250,000 and 165,000 male, full-time female and part-time female employees respectively in employment in Wales. A breakdown of numbers of full-time and part-time males is not available. By September 1990, totals were 525,000, 279,000 and 206,000 respectively. County data are not available for the period requested.
