Mr. Dalyell

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his answer of 15 November,Official Report, column 194, if he will make a statement on his conclusions about a no-fault compensation scheme for service-related personnel who have been exposed to nuclear radiation.

Mr. Kenneth Carlisle

Officials have now largely concluded their studies into this matter. I hope to make a statement in the near future.
