§ 45. Mr. PikeTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what recent progress has been made on bilateral aid agreements with Brazil on environmental matters.
§ Mrs. ChalkerWe have agreed four projects at a total cost to Her Majesty's Government of £4.6 million. All four are now under way. We expect to approve shortly a further four projects costing £4 million. A number of other project proposals are under discussion and awaiting the approval of the Brazilian authorities.
