§ Mr. MoynihanConcern has been expressed to me, in particular by hon. Members, about the possible effects of burning oil in the Gulf region; a copy of the Meteorological Office report assessing these effects has already been placed in the Library of the House. I am, however, not aware of any communications to my Department specifically about a plume of soot and smoke from burning oil over Iraq heading in the direction of the south and east, to which the hon. Member refers.
