The number of overseas fee-paying students who have been allocated in each university to the various faculties of medicine and medicine schools in the United Kingdom.
§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of the Environment (Baroness Blatch)The aggregate intake to medical schools in the United 49WA Kingdom is set by the Health Departments. The current aggregate intake of 4,119 includes 210 overseas students. The distribution of these numbers among universities is a matter for the Universities Funding Council. Its allocations of intake quotas for overseas medical students to each institution are set out below:
