§ Mrs. Virginia Bottomley[holding answer 11 February 1991]: With effect from 1 January 1991, chairmen of district health authorities receive remuneration in the range set out in the table. No specific working hours are required by contract, but most DHA chairmen devote an average of three to 3.5 days a week to their duties.
