To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether the Government will set up a national network of incinerators to destroy the carcases of BSE-infected cattle.

Over 80 per cent. of the carcases are already dealt with in Britain's existing network of incinerators and more will come on stream later this year.

I hope the hon. Member does not want to override local planning laws with a socialist alternative to NIMBY (not in my back yard)—LSIMBIMBY (Labour says it must be in my back yard).
