§ Mr. BaldryMonitoring of the quality of bathing water is carried out in accordance with the requirement of directive 76/160/EEC. In England and Wales the results of the monitoring are maintained on public registers by the regional offices of the National Rivers Authority. Summary results are published in "Bathing Water Directive (76/160/EEC) Article 13 Report (1990 Survey Results) United Kingdom", copies of which are available in the Library.
