To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what representations he has received about the new draft rules published by the Securities and Investments Board.

While the core rules are a matter for the Securities and Investments Board, I have received a number of comments generally supporting a clear and straightforward set of rules for the regulation of investment business.
