§ Mr. Steen
To ask the Secretary of State for Health whether Scotland will be exempted from the Food Hygiene (Amendment) Regulations 1990; and if he will make a statement.

§ Mr. Dorrell
The Food Hygiene (Amendment) Regulations 1990 apply to England and Wales only. Separate food hygiene regulations apply in Scotland, and amendments are under consideration in the Scottish Office.
