§ Mr. MacleanAn interdepartmental steering group on chemical aspects of food surveillance reviews annually the Government's programme for monitoring residues of chemicals, including pesticides, in imported and domestic food. The monitoring of pesticide residues is also reviewed annually by the independent Advisory Committee on Pesticides. The results of monitoring are published in a comprehensive report.
