§ Mr. Martlew
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what level he estimates the stockpile of sugar in the EC to be for the marketing year 1990–91; and what have been the actual levels in the last five years.

§ Mr. Curry
There has been no sugar in EC intervention stores during the 1990–91 marketing year. The following maximum quantities of sugar were held in intervention in each of the last five years for limited periods of time:
