Mr. Cousins

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the current membership of the Export Guarantees Committee.

Mr. Maples

The committee is chaired by the Treasury with representatives from the Export Credit Guarantees Department, Bank of England, Department of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Defence, Foreign Office and the Overseas Development Administration.

Mr. Cousins

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the number of occasions for each year since 1980 when the Export Guarantees Committee was asked to consider extra cover because community limits on cover had been reached.
