§ Mr. Archie HamiltonIraqi prisoners of war will be treated strictly in accordance with the Geneva convention relative to the treatment of prisoners of war, signed in Geneva on 12 August 1949. A copy is available in the Library. Under the convention, Iraq is required to observe the same obligations towards allied prisoners of war.
