§ Mr. Nicholas BennettMy right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State discussed this matter with health authority chairmen at his meeting with them on 20 November. At our request, all district health authorities are reviewing their policies and practices on the provision of equipment, including nebulisers and investigating individual cases where patients have claimed that they were advised to purchase such equipment. When this exercise has been completed we will consider whether further action is needed.
