Terrorist Murders (Hansard, 17 December 1991)

§ Mr. Maginnis
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will publish the number of terrorist murders for the period 15 November 1984 to 14 November 1985 and for each succeeding comparable period until 14 November 1991.

§ Dr. Mawhinney
A total of 469 murders, believed to be terrorist-related, were committed during the period 15 November 1984 to 14 November 1991.

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will detail the percentage of murders in each of the last six years which are attributable to(a) republican terror groups and (b) Loyalist terror groups.
