§ Mr. FallonThe Department keeps under regular review the capital requirements of further education colleges for new building and repairs, in the light of information from LEAs and advice from HMI. Following the establishment of the new Further Education Funding Council, subject to the passage of the Further and Higher Education Bill, we shall look to the council for advice on colleges' future capital requirements.
