Cory Environmental Ltd's proposal for a waste-to-energy incinerator at Belvedere is at present being considered by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Energy. Thames Water's planning applications for two sludge incinerators at Beckton and Crossness are being considered by the councils of the London boroughs of Newham and Bexley respectively.
