§ Mr. McLoughlinThe Merchant Shipping (Control of Pollution by Noxious Liquid Substances in Bulk) Regulations 1987 came into force on 6 April 1987. They apply to United Kingdom ships wherever they may be and to other ships while they are in the United Kingdom or its territorial waters.
The regulations were updated with effect from 1 January 1991 to take into account additional noxious substances.
