HC Deb 09 December 1991 vol 200 c313W
Mr. Pike

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received regarding the operation of disabled facilities grant under the Local Government and Housing Act 1989; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Yeo

Since the disabled facilities grant was introduced in July 1990, my Department has received about 150 representations from hon. Members and around 130 representations from local authorities and members of the public. A further 64 representations on the operation of the scheme have been received from local authorities and other bodies, in response to the Department's current review of the renovation grant system, and these are not being analysed. We hope to announce the results of this review in the new year.
