HC Deb 03 December 1991 vol 200 cc77-8W
Mr. Jopling

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list by district authorities in Cumbria all capital receipts from the sale of council houses received each year since the introduction of the right to buy, together with totals to date.

Sir George Young

The total discounted values of all sales of houses and flats for each year from 1980–81, as reported by local authorities, are in the table. Actual cash receipts in any year will depend on the extent to which the sales were financed by loans from the authorities.
