To ask the Minister for the Arts when he next intends to meet the director of North West Arts to discuss funding for arts in the region.

Mr. Renton

I met the director of North West Arts when I visited the region on 6 November to launch Business in the Arts North West. I am pleased that the North West Arts Board will receive a 13.9 per cent. increase in grant from the Arts Council next year.
