§ Mr. Heathcoat-AmoryFigures on the amount of electricity imported into the United Kingdom for the years 1986 to 1990 are found in table 50 of the "Digest of United Kingdom Energy Statistics 1991", a copy of which is kept in the Library of the House. For the first nine months of 1991 imports of electricity total 12,132 GW hours and exports 14 GW hours. Since 1986 all the United Kingdom's imports and exports of electricity have been carried out solely with France.
