§ Mr. EggarIn the privatisation of the National Seed Development Organisation Ltd. and assets of the Plant Breeding Institute, the fees and other sale expenses in 1987–88 totalled about £0.6 million as stated in the published appropriation account for class XII, vote 13. In 1986 fees amounted to only £48,000, as stated in the published appropriation account for class XII, vote 4 for 1986–87. This is the only privatisation conducted by this Department in the period referred to.
