§ Mr. Peter Lloyd[holding answer 8 April 1991]: Reliable figures of working holidaymaker admissions are available only from I May 1990. The numbers admitted between 1 May and 31 December 1990 are given in the following table. Under the immigration rules, the maximum stay permitted for working holidaymakers is two years.
