§ Mr. Peter LloydFrom time to time, and particularly in the context of their present review of asylum arrangements, the Government have made internal assessments of relevant issues. Published material on asylum seekers includes an annual Home Office statistical bulletin, most recently "Refugee Statistics, United Kingdom, 1989", issue 22/90, published last July, and specific chapters in the annual reports of the immigration and nationality department.
