§ Mr. Lang[holding answer 15 April 1991]: Estimates of the stock of dwellings by tenure are published quarterly in the Scottish Office Statistical Bulletins on housing. Copies are sent to Members representing Scottish constituencies and are available in the House Library. These give the numbers of dwellings rented privately or with a job or business, and rented from local authorities, new town corporations or Scottish Homes. Estimates of the number of tenants who occupy these dwellings are not available.
