To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he can give an estimate of the number of domestic dwelling units in Scotland at the latest date for which figures are available.

[holding answer 15 April 1991]: Estimates of the stock of dwellings in Scotland are published quarterly in the Scottish Office Statistical Bulletins on housing. Copies are sent to Members representing Scottish constituencies and are available in the House Library.
