To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what progress has been made with regard to improving road conditions in Fishguard.

We have consulted the public on proposals for road improvements in West street, Fishguard, and a possible future bypass. We have separately consulted councils and representatives of residents' associations regarding proposals for a relief road at Lower Town. The responses to both consultations are being carefully considered and I hope to be in a position to make a decision in the near future.
