To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will indicate those occasions in the last five years on which he has used his powers in section 276 (part XV) (applying to section 45(1) part III or section 51) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971; if he will specify on each occasion whether he directed the local planning authority to submit an order for his confirmation, or whether he made the order himself; and where compensation was payable, and where relevant, the amount of compensation and the proportion borne by the Department.
